What makes Disco Elysium special is its choices. Thanks to his amnesia this (initially) nameless cop is yours to mold as you play. Set in a grimy rundown city full of downtrodden characters, you play a hungover, amnesiac detective trying to solve a murder. Platforms available: Nintendo Switch, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PCĭisco Elysium is an RPG like no other. Amongst all this, though, there's always a glimmer of hope to help keep your head above water. Over the course of a playthrough, you'll confront difficult political realities and harrowing glimpses into the worst parts of the human condition. Disco Elysium is as thought-provoking as games come.
